well, it's official...at nearly a year old, Philippe has decided to start talking! i slept in this morning (yay spring break) and the fiancé uncovered his cage for me. by the time i got up, he was telling the whole world "it's a bird! it's a bird! it's a bird!"

you know, just in case anyone forgot. hehe...

seriously :) he tries to say "i love you," too, but it's more a mimic of the tone, rather than actual words...i couldn't tell at first that he was saying "it's a bird," but i repeated it back a few times and it got clearer...silly bird :) that's what we tell him when he's being obnoxious. heh. he must be obnoxious a lot...
